Dr. E. Ted Prince is CEO and Founder of the Perth Leadership Institute. Dr. Prince is an expert in the area of leadership performance and improvement from a financial and valuation performance perspective. His book on financial leadership styles and company outcome, “The 3 Financial Styles of Very Successful Leaders” published by McGraw Hill in September 2005, is a revolutionary addition to leadership theory. He is the architect of Perth's Leadership Outcome Model™ (PLOM), the basis for the Perth Leadership System. He consults to CEOs, boards and senior executives on leadership and its impact on corporate financial performance and valuation. He has numerous publications in the area of leadership, human resources, management, strategy and technology and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
Dr. Prince has had extensive operating background at the CEO level in both public and private companies. He was Chairman and CEO of Clearstory Systems (CSYS, formerly INSCI Corp,), a Boston-based public (NASDAQ) company that developed software for enterprise content management, a role in which he served for a period of almost 6 years. Amongst several other CEO roles, he also served as President and CEO of Computer Power Group in New York (later acquired by Spherion).
Dr. Prince has consulted with numerous companies and has served on the boards of many others. He has had extensive experience in the mergers and acquisitions field and has acquired many companies in both the US and overseas including Europe and Asia.
In addition to his work with the Perth Leadership Institute, Dr. Prince also holds the position of Visiting Lecturer at the University of Florida where he teaches Entrepreneurship in the Warrington Graduate School of Business.
Dr. Prince holds a BA First Class Honors degree in languages and political science from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and MA and Ph.D., degrees in political science from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
Bill Haldane works with the Perth Leadership Institute to integrate executive selection, recruiting and development in large corporations with the Institute's leadership approaches. Bill is also President and Founder of Haldane Diogenes, an executive recruiting firm in New York. Bill was formerly a Director and Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, based in the New York office, and a member of their Consumer, Industrial, and International practices.
Bill's search activity spans senior management in natural resources, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products, as well as marketing and communications. He has successfully completed assignments at the Chief Executive, Chief Operating, Chief Financial Officer, and Director levels for Fortune 500 companies, and has gained exposure to the business community in North and South America, the U.K., Europe, Australia, and South Africa. Consumer clients have included American-Italian Pasta, Colgate-Palmolive, Pennzoil, Philip Morris, and Pillsbury, where he put in most of the senior management team.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles in 1992, Bill was an Executive Director of Russell Reynolds Associates. Previously he was in advertising as a Senior Vice President at McCaffrey & McCall and before that at Doyle, Dane, Bernbach, working on P&G, Heinz, and Borden. Other career experience includes three years in sales management with Wedgwood China and Galway Crystal in the United States, and one year in marketing with Simon Engineering in England.
Born and raised in Belfast, Bill received Bachelor of Business Studies and Master of Arts degrees from Trinity College, Dublin. He also studied at the College of Law in England. Bill serves as a Trustee of the Trinity College, Dublin Fund, as an advisor to New Millennium Beef, and has worked actively for peace and jobs in Northern Ireland.
Steve Levitt has been with the Perth Leadership Institute since its inception. He works on the business development side of the Institute to bring the Institutes's unique training system to individual leaders, other training organizations and to corporations. He has over 25 years business development experience in the information technology industry generating new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships, and finding and working new channels of distribution.
Steve began his career with IBM as an account representative and has held various sales and management positions for both IBM and for other companies including Data General. He has had extensive experience working with emerging technology companies, both public and private. This includes INSCI Corporation, a NASDAQ software company based in Boston where he held positions of VP Sales and VP Operations, and Virtusa, a computer services company also based in Boston.
Steve has had particular experience in the financial services sector developing and working with solutions for banks, brokerages, and credit unions. He has significant expertise in automated trading systems. He has also had extensive experience in building and establishing reseller relationships with Fortune 500 companies.
Steve has a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from CCNY and studied Business Administration at New York University.
Neil Voorsanger is Partner, Product Development to the Perth Leadership Institute. In this role he consults on the development of our test instruments and their integration into the corporate training and development environment. Mr. Voorsanger brings over 30 years of executive training and development expertise. He has assisted executives in leadership training, and providing private coaching for career advancement. He has been a speaker on executive training and development for numerous industry associations including the American Management Association, the National Retail Merchants Association, and the National Distributor's Association. Mr. Voorsanger was responsible for product development for the Xerox Learning Division, Xerox Corporation. He has published numerous articles, such as for the Wall Street Journal ("The 10 Principles of Succeeding in an Organization"). Mr. Voorsanger graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in psychology (learning theory).
Steve Sutherland is head of technology for the Perth Leadership Institute. His work involves the development of the IT for the assessment systems underlying the Perth model, including the management infrastructure for these systems and the user interfaces for people completing the assessments. He also develops and maintains Perth's other systems in a variety of areas.
Steve has had extensive experience in programming and development starting as a mainframe Cobol programmer for the Alachua County Regional Information Center in Gainesville Florida, and then with Dunn and Bradstreet Plan Services, Time Warner, and General Electric in Tampa working on mainframe and online systems. He has worked with several technology startups designing and developing new products for online and real-time systems in the areas of Y2K, medical and pharmaceutical systems and banking and merchant account interfaces.
David
Williams is Vice President for
Sales in the Perth Leadership Institute. In this
role he both builds relationships with potential
clients, and is also responsible for supervising
the integration of sales activities into the IT
infrastructure for Perth's services, including
the management of assignments, clients and consultants.
Mr. Williams has worked in the software industry
for 20+ years in project management and training.
He software engineering background includes developing
advanced computer-based management systems for
the paper and metal industries and for student
administration within the higher education sector.
He has conducted
training for software industry professionals throughout
Florida and at several international conferences.
His entrepreneurial experience includes starting
up a software company in the area of higher education
systems
Mr. Williams graduated from the University of Florida with a BS and ME in engineering. His graduate work involved neural networks and decision systems.
Rebecca Prince is Director, Leadership Consulting for the Perth Leadership Institute. In this role she manages Perth engagements and also assists with financial and legal matters in the operational environment. She has consulting experience across a range of industries and clients, specializing in the financial services and energy industries. Her consulting experience includes corporate governance and leadership engagements, including facilitating Board self-assessments and conducting Board off-sites for large corporations. Other engagement experience has covered risk management, internal and regulatory audit, Sarbanes Oxley, Basel II operational risk implementation, stakeholder engagement and corporate sustainability.
Rebecca holds degrees in Arts and Law from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia (formerly the Securities Institute of Australia). She has held consulting positions in Andersen, Ernst and Young and most recently Protiviti, which included a one-year transfer to Protiviti's office in Shanghai, China.
